Thank You!

Thank you to everyone for the season we were able to have this year!  Congratulations to all of the girls for all of their successes, and thank you for all of the hard work that was put in!
Congrats to Courtney for being a two time State runner-up and three time All-State performer in shot put!
Thank you for all the support from all the parents and thank you to the coaches that put forth a great amount of energy to help the girls get through this tough year!
If there is anything any of you would wish to see next year, please let me know.  I hope to improve this site so it becomes a better line of communication.

State

The Girls Track and Field team ended their team season on Friday at the Section 5AA Meet tying for 8^th out of 16 teams.  This was by far the best overall meet for the team with many season or personal bests and with the team gaining more points than what was expected!  Congratulations to Amber Harris and Courtney Pasiowitz for qualifying for the State Meet this coming Friday and Saturday.  Amber finished in 2^nd place in the 300m hurdles and will be returning for the 2^nd year in a row, and Courtney repeated as Section Champion and also set a new Section Record in the Shot Put and will be returning to try for a 3^rd All-State Performance.  Below is a link to the heat sheets for the State Meet, so you can see where the girls are compared to the rest of the individuals who have made it to State.

Also, please remember that our Team Banquet will be on Monday, Jun 3rd at 6:00pm in the High School Cafeteria.  The girls have chosen to have a more formal affair and a Pot Luck meal.  Please refer to the earlier post in regards to what to bring.
