Friday

Below is the tentative schedule of events for Friday's meet.  The meet is at the University of Minnesota Fieldhouse off of University Avenue (directions below as well). 
We have the field house from 7:00-10:00, so we will be getting home a bit late.  Please make sure that you have rides set for your athlete if you are not able to be there when the buses get back, around 10:30.  Also, if you are intending to bring your athlete home from the meet, either before it is over or after the last event, I will need a note from a parent that the athlete will be going home with a parent.  If I do not have a note, I will have them go home on the bus.  Also, only parents and family can bring athletes home, not friends or a friends parent.  If you have any questions, please let me know,

          Long Jump/ Triple Jump cafeteria style (4 jumps, no finals

          Girls Shot, Followed by Boys Shot

                    Girls and Boys Pole Vault combined

          Girls High Jump, Followed by Boys High Jump

7:00 Running Events (Running time Girls then Boys)

          55-Meter High Hurdles

          55-Meter Dash

          1600 meter run

          400-meter dash

          800 meter run

          200 meter run

          4 x 400 meter relay (if time allows)

University of Minnesota Fieldhouse: 1800 University Ave, Minneapolis, MN, 55455.  Go East on Hwy 10, then merge onto Interstate 35W South. Take 35W South and exit onto University/4th Street Exit (not the U of M exit). Turn left onto University Ave. The Fieldhouse is located at 18th and University.

 

Practice Begins Monday

This is just a reminder that practice begins tomorrow, Monday, at 11:00.  Please make sure that you are signed up and are ready by 10:45 in the Mezzanine by the Field House so we can start on time.  Practice is from 11:00-2:00 Monday-Thursday, but most days we will be done before that time.  Also, practice on Monday, March 17 will be at 2:30.  We will have the Field House that day from 2:30-4:30.  If you have any questions, please let me know,
