Super Fan T-Shirt Fundraiser

We are Starting a small fundraiser to help pay for some of the costs during the season today.  We are going to have the Girls sell Super Fan T-Shirts for $20, $25 if you are wanting a name on the back.  We are only going to be selling these for just over a week, with the due date for orders being April 8th!  Please go to one of the the following links to place your orders.

Week of March 28th

A couple of announcements as we get going on the 3rd week of the season.  No meets yet this week, but a couple of items of importance.  With the weather we are predicted to have this week, we need to make sure that everyone has clothing for both inside and outside.  If there is anyone that is having troubles putting together enough clothing to go outside, please let me know.  Kennedy, one of our captains, put together a clothing drive for those who may need workout clothes on our team, so we have a wide variety clothing option.  To go with this, we have an unwritten rule that if it is under 50 degrees outside and we are practicing outside, that long sleeves or a jacket and long pants are needed.  Looking at the weather for the week, I would say Monday and Friday most of the team will be outside, so please be ready for outside practices and appropriate clothing.

We as a team are not scheduled for the field house after school this week.  We were not scheduled until 7:00pm, but we are still practicing at 3:00pm, after school as usual, but those that are planning to pole vault this year can come in at 7:00 using Door 16 in order to practice indoors.  If any of the other field event groups decide to use the field house one day, we will let everyone know.

Thursday at the end of practice we will be handing out uniforms. Please make sure that these are taken care of and that they are cleaned on a regular basis.

Week of March 21

Practice on Monday, March 21st will start at 2:45 in the Mezzanine.  We will be scheduled until 5:00 in the field house, but some groups and workouts may extend beyond a little bit. Then, for the rest of the second week of the season, practices will be starting at 3:00 for those at the high school and those that are in middle school will join in as soon as they get out of school and get ready (they will not miss any workouts or parts of workouts).  

One other item of note, we will get workouts done in time for those that need to take the activity buses (which we will have passes for), but we DO have practices on Friday and ALL athletes are expected to be at these practices as well.  Transportation will be more of a challenge with no activity buses, but we are a 5 day a week program, so please set up rides before Friday comes along.

Monday is the First Day of Practice

Please remember that tomorrow, Monday the 14th, is the first day of practice for Track and Field, enter through Door 16, the back of the school!!  Please make sure you are signed up before you attend practice and then that we would like for you to be in the mezzanine by 2:45 to get going.  Practice is from 3:00-5:00, Monday through Thursday this week, with event coaches deciding for Friday.  If there are any questions, please let me know,
