You can find results from yesterday's rain soaked Section 5AA meet above when you click on Wayzata Results. Go to Results on that web page, and then click on Section 5AA.
Congratulations to all of the ladies that competed yesterday and this week at the Section Meet. There were a lot of solid performances and even a few major improvements as the team was able to finish in 7th place out of the 16 team meet. Despite all of the improvements, season or personal PR's, and the number of close finishes, we were only able to advance one individual to next weeks State Meet, and that was Kalley Harris in the 300IM Hurdles. Kalley finished in a solid 2nd place, qualified on time, and just missed her own personal best in the 300's despite the rain and extremely wet track. She will be running in the State Prelims on Friday morning with the hope of moving to the Finals that will be on Saturday morning, both at Hamline University.
Other Podium finishes went to the following:
Allie Stalboerger - 7th in the 200m
Brielle Clarke - 6th in the 100m, 4th in the High Jump
Kalley Harris - 3rd in the 100m Hurdles
Devin Vanseth - 8th in the Shot Put
Alyssa Baron - 7th in Pole Vault
Caitlin Ackerman - 7th in High Jump
The 4x800 Relay team of Elise Weimholt, Lindsey Johnson, Susan Porter and Bryna DelCastillo finished in 5th
The 4x100 and 4x200 Relay teams of Allie Stalboerger, Brianna Clarke, Brielle Clarke and Caitlin Ackerman finished in 5th
The 4x400 Relay team of Brianna Clarke, Michelle Onyekaba, Bryna DelCastillo and Caitlin Ackerman finished in 6th.
Great Job to all of the Girls!!
Lastly, all uniforms will need to be turned in after school on Monday, June 1st. We will also be doing our team voting and an end of season survey.
Thanks for all of your support.

Section Finals
Below is the schedule for the Section Finals tomorrow at Hamline University. Once again, please be aware of the start time.
Also, due to the possible weather, I would like to let you know what we have been told if the weather is not favorable. The meet will not be delayed to Saturday, we will compete if it is just raining. If it is pouring, they will not start a race, they will wait until it subsides. If there is lightning, all outdoor events will be delayed 30 minutes from the last sighting of lightning. Also, they will stick to the schedule, and not move forward to beat the weather, only delayed. It is possible we will be there most of the evening/night, if there are any delays. We have been told that the meet has to be completed tomorrow.
Also, we will find out when we get to the meet tomorrow if Pole Vault will be inside or outside. There will be a posting on the main doors of the stadium if it is moved inside, which will be in the Field house which is just to the south of the track and stadium.
If you have any questions, please let me know,
Thanks

Conference Results
Results for this weeks NWSC Meet can be found on Raceberry Jam, which you can click on above.
Yesterday was a very positive day for the team and one in which we finished very solidly in the 14 team meet. Points were hard to come by overall, but we moved up in most events and were able to finish in 5th place, less than 5 points out of 3rd, and less than 20 out of 1st, which is really only 2 events, which lets us know that we are close.
All Conference Honors went to the following girls:
Kalley Harris 2nd in both the 100 Hurdles and the 300 Low Hurdles
Brielle Clarke 2nd in the 100m Dash and 3rd in High Jump
Allie Stalboerger 2nd in the 200m Dash
Alyssa Baron 4th in the Pole Vault
Honorable Mentions went to the following girls:
Caitlin Ackerman 5th in Long Jump
Lexie Hanneman 7th in Pole Vault
4x100m team of Allie Stalboerger, Brielle Clarke, Skye Juneau, Brianna Clarke 5th
4x200m team of Brianna Clarke, Juliet Fatunbi, Brielle Clarke, Allie Stalboerger
4x800m team of Elise Weimholt, Lindsey Johnson, Susan Porter, Bryna DelCastillo
Great Job to all of the girls for the work and effort, also a big Thanks to the girls that helped with the Concession Stand and Hurdles this week as well!
On Monday, Memorial Day, some of the athletes will be practicing in the evening, so please make sure they are aware if they are practicing or not.
Lastly, next week is the Section 5AA Meet at Hamline University on Wednesday and Friday. I will put out detailed information next week, but please note one change for Friday, and that is the start time. The time for the meet to start has been moved to 1:00.
If you have any questions on any of this, please let me know,

Monday Info
A reminder for those going to the meet tomorrow, whether competing or helping, you will be getting out of class after 4th hour and the bus will leave at 1:30.
One thing to pay attention to is the weather for tomorrow. As of right now, it appears to be an overcast day with temps in the 40's or low 50's. With that in mind, if you are someone who will be wearing an undergarment under your uniform, it has to be one color with stitching that is the same color. We as a team have gone with black for undergarments, so please make every attempt to go this route. If you do not have that color, please use one of the other two school colors. Also, please come prepared with warm clothes. We won't be there for too long, but long enough.
If you have any questions, please let me know,
Thanks,
Denny

Conference Prelims
Below is the schedule for Monday's Northwest Suburban Conference Prelims. Remember that the meet is at Irondale High School on Monday (directions below), but Coon Rapids on Tuesday and Thursday. The Girls will only be competing on Monday and Thursday. With the exception of the 3200 and the Field Events, all of these events are prelims and the top runners will move onto the Finals on Thursday. In all of the events the winner of each heat the next 2 fastest overall runners will be moving onto the Finals for a total of 8 in the Finals, except for the 800m which is the top 3 in each and the next 3 overall fastest.
We will be bringing a few extra girls to help with the Hurdles at Irondale for Monday, but then on Tuesday and Thursday we will be needing the girls to help as well. On Tuesday we will need girls helping with the concession stand and hurdles and Thursday we will need girls to help with concession stand. If we could get a couple of parents to help with the concession stand on both day, that would be great. If you would like to help, please let me know.
If you would like to see the Heat Sheets (Heat, Lane Assignments for everyone competing) you can go onto Raceberryjam above and look under Northwest Suburban Conference Meet and you will see a place to look at those.
Finally, I will get our results for Friday's JV Conference Meet out a little later. There were no overall results, but it was a very positive day for the girls and it was a good way for many of them to finish their seasons. I know that the girls were having fun, and that is the biggest thing for me.
Any questions, please let me know,
Thanks
