Results for this weeks NWSC Meet can be found on Raceberry Jam, which you can click on above.
Yesterday was a very positive day for the team and one in which we finished very solidly in the 14 team meet. Points were hard to come by overall, but we moved up in most events and were able to finish in 5th place, less than 5 points out of 3rd, and less than 20 out of 1st, which is really only 2 events, which lets us know that we are close.
All Conference Honors went to the following girls:
Kalley Harris 2nd in both the 100 Hurdles and the 300 Low Hurdles
Brielle Clarke 2nd in the 100m Dash and 3rd in High Jump
Allie Stalboerger 2nd in the 200m Dash
Alyssa Baron 4th in the Pole Vault
Honorable Mentions went to the following girls:
Caitlin Ackerman 5th in Long Jump
Lexie Hanneman 7th in Pole Vault
4x100m team of Allie Stalboerger, Brielle Clarke, Skye Juneau, Brianna Clarke 5th
4x200m team of Brianna Clarke, Juliet Fatunbi, Brielle Clarke, Allie Stalboerger
4x800m team of Elise Weimholt, Lindsey Johnson, Susan Porter, Bryna DelCastillo
Great Job to all of the girls for the work and effort, also a big Thanks to the girls that helped with the Concession Stand and Hurdles this week as well!
On Monday, Memorial Day, some of the athletes will be practicing in the evening, so please make sure they are aware if they are practicing or not.
Lastly, next week is the Section 5AA Meet at Hamline University on Wednesday and Friday. I will put out detailed information next week, but please note one change for Friday, and that is the start time. The time for the meet to start has been moved to 1:00.
If you have any questions on any of this, please let me know,
Thanks
Denny
