Tonight

I want to send out an apology for how long the meet lasted tonight, especially after I mentioned that we would be home much sooner than we were.  There was an additional boys team tonight that originally wasn't going to be there and that, along with the size of the teams that were there, made the meet run longer.  I am hoping that the only other meet that goes that long this year will be the Section True Team meet, which is varsity only.
As for tonight, I will post our individual results as well as the overall meet results tomorrow.

Meet Today

Want to give everyone a heads up that Pole Vaulting, Long Jump, Triple Jump and High Jump will be cancelled today but everything else is a go for the Meet at Centennial.  The Pole Vaulters that are not in any other events will be staying behind at school and will be practicing from 2:30-4:30.

Centennial Triangular

Tomorrow, Wednesday, is our first scheduled meet, which is at Centennial High School. As of right now, the meet is still going on as planned, but if anything changes, due to the weather, I will let everyone know as soon as I can.
Below is directions to the high school as well as a normal schedule of events.  This is also posted on the right side of our blog under schedule (which directions are also always posted).
Some other items to be aware of, the athletes will be going to the meet and coming from the meet together.  We want everyone to be supportive of the whole team and staying for the whole meet is important.  We do understand that occasionally people need to go home early for family/religion/school reasons, and if this is the case then a note from parents needs to be brought to myself, and then I need to see that the athlete is going home with a parent, so please make sure I am notified in person (I am usually positioned on the infield by the start/finish area, so an athlete telling me they are leaving with a parent by the stands will work).  We have close to 90 girls on the team, so we need to keep track of everyone, especially if they are leaving early.  Also, to go along with this, athletes are only allowed to go home with their parents, not the parents of friends.

Centennial: 4707 North Road, Circle Pines, 55014.  Go East on Hwy 10, then merge onto Interstate 35W North.  Go north on 35W to the Lexington Ave exit and take a right.  Take a left on North Road (101^st Ave NE).  School will be on left about a mile after Lexington.
