JV Conference

Here are the basics for Thursdays JV Conference Meet at Elk River.  Please note, a decision will be made about the weather at noon by Elk River if the weather is not looking positive, which is a possibility.  If I hear that the meet has been cancelled I will let everyone know right away.  If the meet is cancelled, it will not be made up because of the time of the season, with the Conference Meet next week and the Section Meet the following week.  

The Girls will be getting out of class early, with the high school Girls at 1:40 and the middle school Girls at 1:30, while the bus will leave at 2:00.  This will be a regular meet with the regular schedule of events, with the first race starting at 3:45.  Coaches let those know who would be competing at this meet.  If someone was not able to sign up for their events today, please note that it is not an issue and they can do the events they want to tomorrow.  There are 7 teams in this meet, so it will be after 8:00 that the team will get home, so if you need to or want to bring your child home, you are able to.    Also, please note the road construction in both Anoka and Elk River and that it may take a little longer to use Hwy 10 to get to the meet, so please plan accordingly.

Lastly, this will be the last meet for the majority of the Girls on the team, but we will talk with the Girls about what they can do for the rest of the season for practices if they so choose.  We will be putting more info out in the next few days about uniform turn in, team voting, and the end of season gathering.  So please check back often to stay up to date.
