True Team Sections Meet, Tuesday, May 10 at Rogers High School
Below is the line up as well as a link to the meet information for Tuesday's True Team Meet at Rogers High School. Two very important time items that are needed to be known. First, the High Jump and Pole Vault for Girls will be starting at 12:00pm. They will need to start heading to the meet at about 10:30. The rest of the team will be leaving the school at 1:45. The reason for this, is that if they waited until the meet time, with up to 30 athletes in each of those events, and only 1 pit for both, it would take over 4 hours for each, add the Boys to that, and the last competitors would be in the dark and it would be well after 10:00. Which brings me to the other time item, this is a bigger meet, with 10 teams and each team allowed to enter 3 athletes in each event and one relay team per relay. There is not a set time schedule, but it will be a normal run meet, so it will be a longer day/evening. In the past we have not been back to school until closer to 8:30-9:00, if there are no weather delays. If you are concerned about your athlete being out that late, please note that you are allowed to bring them home after their events, but please make sure you are letting me know so we are not looking or waiting for them when we are trying to go home. If there is any more information before Tuesday, I will send it out as well.
