Also, uniform turn in and team voting will be on Monday, June 6th after school.

Below is the schedule for Tuesday's Northwest Suburban Conference Prelims.  Remember that the meet is at Maple Grove High School on Tuesday (directions below), but Irondale Thursday.  The Girls will only be competing on Tuesday and Thursday.  The boys will be competing on Monday.  With the exception of the 3200 and the Field Events, all of these events are prelims and the top runners will move onto the Finals on Thursday.  In all of the events the 8 fastest overall runners will be moving onto the Finals for a total of 8 in the Finals, except for the 800m which is the top 3 in each and the next 3 overall fastest.
We will be bringing a few extra girls to help with the Starting block on Tuesday, but then Thursday we will be needing the girls to help as well.
If you would like to see the Heat Sheets (Heat, Lane Assignments for everyone competing) you can go onto Raceberryjam above and look under Northwest Suburban Conference Meet and you will see a place to look at those.

Results

Sorry for the delay on results from Tuesday's meet at Armstrong.  They are now posted and I will have the teams results from Thursday's JV Conference meet up later today.
There were no overall meet results from Tuesday's meet, but we will have overall results for the JV Conference meet.
Lastly, information for the banquet will be posted later today as well.

JV True Team Results

Our individual results for yesterday's JV True Team meet are now posted.  There were no team scores kept, so there will not be any overall meet results.  It is more of an opportunity for the JV athletes to get in a meet that has more individuals to compete against, but also not worry about being at the meet all night.  It is sort of a get in and get out meet, while still giving opportunities.
But, it was a solid meet for the JV girls.  Improvements continue.  There was a strong wind that aided and hindered performances, but still many girls were very happy with how they ended up finishing.
Next up will be at Armstrong on Tuesday.  This will be a 3 team open meet, so everyone on our team will be competing.  Next Thursday will be the JV Conference meet at Elk River, which will be the last meet for most of the JV girls.  One thing we do mention to all of the runners though is that even if they are not on the Varsity Conference team does not mean that they cannot be on the Varsity Section team.  The Conference Meet is to do what we can as a team, while the Section Meet is about getting as many to the State Meet.
Any questions, please let me know,
Thanks
Denny

Section True Team Results

Our team results are now posted.  I will update the Top Performances list and get a link to the meet results up by the end of the day as well.
The girls performed well, 6th out of 9 teams, with some doing better than expected and having a few struggle in a few events that we were hoping to do better in.  But overall there was progress and hopefully we are able to help those that struggled a bit get back on track and see what we can do as we move forward.
The tumblers will be here today, so we can finally finish the fundraising.
Any questions on anything, let me know,
Thanks
Denny

True Team Sections

The True Team Section meet today at Elk River is still on.  The rain appears to be letting up and will stop by mid morning.
The Girls Pole Vault will start at 12:00 with the rest of the meet starting at 3:45.  With 9 teams, the meet will run longer, so getting home will probably be closer to 9:00, so long as there are no weather delays.
This meet is a little different than the others.  Every individual and relay will receive points, so long as they finish their race or get a qualifying height or distance.  With 9 teams and each team getting 3 individuals per event, first place will get 27 points, 27th place will get 1 point.  For relays first place will get 36 point (9 team x 4 individuals per team), 2nd place 32 on down to 4 points for 9th place. The team that has the most points at the end of the meet will qualify for the True Team State Meet. Individuals will not qualify for that State Meet.
On a side note, the Tumblers are finally being delivered today, but since I won't be around when they get here, we will be sending them out to everyone on Wednesday.
If there are any questions, please let me know,
Thanks
Denny

Andover JV Results

The team's individual results for yesterday's Andover JV meet are now posted.  There were not any scores kept, so there are no overall meet results, nor do we know what place that we would have placed.
But, it was a fun day for the girls with many positives.  A few decisions were helped along for the True Team meet next Tuesday while a few others were made a bit more challenging, which is always a good thing when the JV girls are pushing the Varsity for those spots.
If there are any questions, please let me know,
Thanks
Denny

Blaine Invite

Results for Tuesday's Blaine Invite can be found through one of two ways, one through this link: Blaine Invite or by clicking above on the Prime Time Timing link at the top of the blog.  Our individual results will be posted later today.
But on an overall, the girls performed very well, finishing 4th out of 7 teams and showing much improvement in many areas.  Top finishers were Kalley Harris, 1st in the 100 Hurdles and 300 Hurdles; Camika Hurdle, 1st in Pole Vault; Brielle Clarke, 2nd in the 100m dash; Brianna Clarke, 2nd in High Jump;  and Devin Vanseth, 2nd in the Shot Put.  Great Job Girls!
Any questions, let me know,
Thanks
