Thursday's Meet Cancelled

We have been notified that our meet for Thursday, April 14, has been cancelled due to the weather.  We will look to reschedule and if there is a day that works we will let everyone know.  We will still have practice on Thursday at 3:00.

Thanks

Denny

Tuesday Meet Cancelled

We were just notified that our meet today, Tuesday, has been cancelled due to the predicted weather.  We are working to see if the meet can be rescheduled for another time, so I will let you know if that is a possibility.

We are practicing at our usual time today!

Thanks,
Denny

Tuesday Meet Ride Issue

We were notified at the end of the school day today that we are short one bus for our meet tomorrow to Rogers.  We usually have two buses for these meets, but they are short on drivers right now, so we are short that bus.

What we are asking is for those parents that are able to bring them to the meet to please help and bring your athlete(s).  For those athletes that have the OK from their family are able to drive as well.  However, we cannot encourage carpools.

Sorry for the short notice.  We do want the Girls to be to Rogers for warm ups by 3:00.

Thanks,
Denny

Friday Results

Our Individual Results from Friday's meet with Centennial are now posted on the right side of the blog.  There were no Overall Results, but when we have meets that there are Overall Results I will have a link to them in the results as well.

Despite the lack of time outside and the amount of work we need to do because of how young and inexperienced we are, it was a solid first meet and the Girls were competitive throughout the day!  It's fun to be out competing and see what the Girls can do and to give them a starting point for the events they are in so they can start to see improvements for the work they are doing.  Many also were able to get more of a workout in by doing more events then they usually would or events they probably won't do again, but they worked hard and that is all we ask of them.

Next up are two meets this week.  Tuesday is a 3 team meet at Rogers for the whole team.  We may hold out some of our Varsity athletes because the other meet is a Varsity only meet at Forest Lake.  I am still waiting for all of the details for the Forest Lake meet, but the meet at Rogers will have accutrack timing, so some times may seem slower, but they will actually be more accurate than Friday's, since Friday's times were all hand held times.

Thanks to all that came out and watched the meet!

Thanks,
Denny

One last item, all apparel and Super Fan Shirt orders are due tomorrow.

Thanks,
Denny
