New School Record

Sorry this took so long, was waiting to see if there would be a web site for results, but there have not been any yet for yesterday's True Team Section meet.  Once they are posted somewhere I will post here.  But, the girls showed improvement yesterday in Elk River and finished in a solid 4th place.  We know as a group that we can improve and we are getting closer.  With the poor weather, a lot of girls are behind in the race department, so we are trying to advance them without beating them down.

The biggest event with yesterday's meet was the new school record that Courtney Pasiowitz achieved in the Shot Put.  The former record of 43'6" was set in 1997, and was one that Courtney has been aiming for and was finally able to take it down with a throw of 44'1.25"!!  Congrats to Courtney and we are hoping she keeps moving that record further out three!

Tomorrow is a JV meet at Anoka.  Races start at 3:30 and it will be a normal schedule of events.  There is no time schedule, and some years this meet has gone by really fast and others it is dragged.  I believe there will be 5 teams, but it could be as many as 9.

Finally, the team pictures will be on Friday after school at the track.  All athletes will get order forms tomorrow and will need to wear their uniform for the team picture.

If there are any questions, please let me know.
Thanks
Denny
