But despite running and competing in the warmest temps they have had to deal with all season, the girls performed well and held their own. A strong head wind in the last 100m made times a little slow, but there were still many that ran season bests or close to their season bests. Even with the heat, it was a fun and positive day and one we hope to build on for the rest of the season!
Next up is a meet at Robinsdale Armstrong on Monday for the whole team. Bus leaves at 2:40, first race at 3:45.
